How We Support the LGBTQ+ Community
As a psychiatric provider, I am committed to delivering affirming, culturally responsive care for LGBTQ+ children, adolescents, and families. This includes using chosen names and pronouns, recognizing the impact of minority stress and discrimination, and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for treatment.
I provide evidence-based support for anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity-related stressors, while offering guidance for families seeking to better understand and support their loved ones. When appropriate, I collaborate with schools, therapists, and community resources to ensure comprehensive, wraparound care.
Education is also central to my work. I help patients and families navigate gender identity, sexual orientation, emotional wellness, and resilience-building strategies—empowering them with accurate information and supportive tools.
My goal is to promote mental wellness, self-acceptance, and healthy development in every individual I serve.
